Swap Milan's December fog for 24°C, coral reefs and the Red Sea.
EasyJet flies non-stop from Milan Malpensa to Sharm el-Sheikh from €61 return in December, and from €68 in March 2027. That is less than a return train from Milan to Rome.

💰 How far does your money go?
An aperitivo spritz in Milan now costs about €10, and an espresso at the bar about €1.30. In Sharm el-Sheikh, a plate of koshari costs about €2, a Turkish coffee in the Old Market about €1.50 and a grilled fish dinner by the sea about €12. A full day of snorkelling by boat often costs less than a dinner out in Milan.
☀️ The Weather
Sharm el-Sheikh is warm and dry all winter. In December, expect sunny days of 23°C to 24°C, cooler evenings around 15°C and a sea at about 24°C. In March, days climb to around 26°C. It almost never rains.
