Milan has the most expensive Aperol Spritz in Europe, at an average of €16.66. In Bangkok that same money feeds you for two days. A plate of pad thai from a street cart is about €1.50. May and June are the start of the rainy season in Bangkok. Expect daytime highs around 34°C, nights near 26°C, and humidity that sits on you from the moment you step outside. Mahanakhon Skywalk — Glass floor and open-air deck 314 metres up. Best 30 minutes before sunset.
Chatuchak weekend market — 15,000 stalls, open Saturday and Sunday. Go early, drink water, get lost on purpose.
