Butterfly Valley — Accessible only by boat from Ölüdeniz. Sheer cliffs drop into clear water, with a small beach at the base that feels entirely cut off. Go in the morning before the day boats arrive.

Marmaris — 90 minutes from Dalaman by road. A lively marina town with boat trips into the surrounding bays and a long stretch of beach.
Rhodes — A short ferry from Marmaris in summer. Medieval old town, sea views, and a day that barely feels like leaving Turkey.
