💰 How Far Does Your Money Go?
A cortado and a medialuna at a Palermo café costs around €2.60, less than the Wiener Melange back home. A full steak dinner with a glass of Malbec runs about €26, roughly the price of a Schnitzel and a beer at a Vienna Beisl. Between 17:00 and 20:00, craft beer bars drop pints to around €2, so happy hour alone can carry your evening.
☀️ The Weather
Buenos Aires runs on the opposite season to Vienna. Fly in November and you'll land in spring, around 26°C by day and 14°C at night. Come February or March and it's late summer sliding into autumn, still a warm 19–26°C. By April and May the city cools into a mild, dry autumn, perfect for long walks without the humidity.

🎯 What to Do
Buenos Aires moves at night and remembers everything by day.
Cycle through Palermo's parks — Rent a bike for a few euros and cut through the lakes and jacaranda-lined avenues of Bosques de Palermo.
Walk through Recoleta Cemetery — Wander among 6,400 mausoleums, including Eva Perón's grave, one of the most striking free sights in the city.
Eat at a parrilla in Palermo — A proper Argentine steak dinner, then stay out for a late-night milonga once the city wakes up again.
Take a tango lesson in San Telmo — Learn the basics in the afternoon, then watch dancers do it properly in the same bar after dark.
