💰 How Far Does Your Money Go?
A bowl of wonton noodles at a Hong Kong cha chaan teng costs around €7, and a local draught beer is about €6, roughly what you'd pay for a coffee back in Stockholm. Dim sum for two at a proper local spot rarely tops €20, less than a single lunch special in central Stockholm. The Star Ferry across Victoria Harbour, one of the best views in the city, costs under €0.50 a ride.
☀️ The Weather
Hong Kong stays warm well into autumn, with September and October sitting around 27°C to 31°C and plenty of humidity. By November it cools off to a far more comfortable 24°C to 28°C, dry and sunny, widely considered the best time to visit. December brings milder, crisp days around 18°C to 23°C, a proper break from a Swedish winter closing in.
