💰 How far does your money go?
A fika of coffee and a kanelbulle in Stockholm runs about €7. In Jakarta, a full plate of nasi goreng from a street vendor costs closer to €1.50, and a proper meal at a local warung, rice, protein, sambal and a drink, comes in under €3. A cold local beer is around €2, roughly a third of what you'd pay for one back home.
🌴 The Weather
Jakarta stays warm and tropical right through the booking window. September and October run hot, with daytime highs around 32-33°C and short, heavy downpours in the afternoons. By November and into December it cools only slightly, with highs near 31°C, so pack light and expect humidity year round.
