💰 How far does your money go?
A plate of pad kra pao from a street stall costs about 70 baht, under €2. A cold Chang beer at a beachside bar runs 100 baht, roughly €2.65, less than half of a standard Helles at an Oktoberfest tent. A full seafood dinner, grilled prawns and rice included, comes to around 400 baht, about €10.50, which barely covers a main course back in Munich.

Phuket in September and October still sits in the tail end of the wet season, warm and humid with highs of 26-31°C and short afternoon downpours. By November the island shifts into its dry season, temperatures holding steady around 25-32°C with long stretches of sun. December is Phuket at its best: dry, bright and consistently warm, with lows rarely dipping below 24°C even at night.
