Dim sum, skyscrapers and a ferry ride to Macau, all for less than a weekend in the Balearics.
Air China is running one of its lowest fares of the year from Barcelona to Hong Kong, one stop, from just €487 return. This isn't a city that usually shows up on the cheap flights radar, so it's worth grabbing while it's here.

💰 How Far Does Your Money Go?
Forget a caña and a menú del día. In Hong Kong, HK$54 (about €6.30) gets you a draught beer, and a full cha chaan teng meal, eggs, toast, noodles or rice, runs HK$40–80 (€4.70–9.30). Street food stalls in Temple Street serve curry fish balls and stinky tofu for HK$10–20 a portion. A cappuccino costs about €4.90, similar to Barcelona, but the food goes a lot further.
☀️ The Weather
September in Hong Kong is hot and humid, with highs around 31°C and lows near 26°C. It's still typhoon season, so expect the odd heavy shower, but plenty of sun in between and warm water for a swim in Sai Kung.
